REACHING THE PROMISED HEIGHTS

         There is actually one thing to confess a career and there is another thing to actualize it. The gap between confessing and actualizing dream (s) is clearly wide. It is quite unfortunate to see the educational system of Nigeria crumble. It is pertinent to say that irrespective of a person's career, profession or Job, he/she needs education whether formal or informal. The only hope we have in Nigeria is to prevent our educational system from falling completely . We really need to remember that education is very important in actualizing dream(s). Also we need to widen our horizons on the fact that those in the governmental  position of authority have their children or relatives in schools and tertiary institutions outside Nigeria. We are all aware of the evils that has befallen Nigeria . Somebody will ask, are we going to continue to suffer from the retarded educational system? Will there be a way out ? Yes there will actually be . The way forward are :

          Firstly ,we need to be in charge of our political rights .As Nigerians we are expected to exhibit our political rights. It's known  popularly that there is an upcoming election , the presidential election of 2023. Most bonafide citizens will really want to ward off their voting rights. They believe with upmost heart the election will be rigged. We really need to ask ourselves this question. If the  election will be rigged why are people still bribed to vote for a particular political candidates . If an election will be rigged ,they still  need some amount of votes  in an election. Therefore irrespective of the electoral malpractice  your votes, our votes are still needed. Let us stop waisting our PVC( Permanent voters card)  by sitting down to  watch TVC during election. In addition , during the period of election we really need prayers . The different religions in Nigeria should come together in prayers for the process of election . Let's remember that ANY DECISION OF THE GOVERNMENT WILL SURELY AFFECT OUR GENERATIONS UNBORN . Some people might have some claims that anointed men, apostles , Imam and religious leaders have been praying yet there is no any  obvious change. From my perspective ,I think we should work on our religions unity. We should all see ourselves as one . I wonder why a Christian was burnt down because she was only expressing her views . I think we should do some effective work on our religion's Unity ,then I feel this will make our prayers more effective.

       Furthermore ,it is adequately known that corruption  had spilled loom over the" face "of Nigeria . It is found nearly all over the surface of our country, Nigeria . I remembered vividly my experience during a visitation to a branch of one of the prestigious bank in Nigeria . I actually sat down waiting for my number ( the number allotted  to me by the security man at the gate ) to  be called . Randomly I saw a scenario which actually called my sense to order. I saw a man who greased the palm of the official at the entrance of the gate with some money. The man  was immediately granted entrance while I was denied  for a long period of time because I didn't bribe the official. Then when I left the bank I begin to ponder about some opinions . At first I thought within me ,it is this same kind of people who will say government officials are corrupt ,yet they are exhibiting corruption . There is something which will hamper our success in Nigeria which is simply"SELF DECEIT" . Let us stop deceiving ourselves. We are expected to stop corruption at first at grass roots level , when we do that, it will begin to generate up to other levels 

       In conclusion ,we are Nigerians we can make Nigeria to be a Nigeria of our dreams. Let us work in UNITY.
